Two freshman were chosen as Students of the Week for Sept. 25-29 by Litchfield High School staff.
Math teacher Angela Kuehl nominated Henry Weimer because he “always has a smile on his face and says hello.” She also described him as “very polite and respectful of his peers and teachers.”
Weimer, Kuehl wrote in her selection, also completes his work and is helpful to others in class.
Weimer participates in choir and tennis at LHS. Outside of school his hobbies and interests include playing creative games, which foster his interest in being a civil engineer.
He is the son of Angela Larson and Christopher Weimer of Litchfield.
Levi Johnson was nominated by music teacher Joel Green, who wrote that Johnson is a “strong leader” and “works hard at what he’s committed to.” In addition, Green wrote, Johnson is humble, confident and kind and an “amazing singer.”
Johnson participates in basketball, track and field, FFA, band, choir and Knowledge Bowl. Other interests for Johnson include skiing, hiking and farming.
He is the son of Matthew and Darci Johnson of Litchfield.
