A Litchfield man got more than a little lucky last week.
Derik Friel won $100,000 playing the Minnesota State Lottery’s Gold Premium Play scratch game.
Friel claimed his prize Feb. 4 at Lottery headquarters in Roseville. Friel purchased the winning ticket from SuperAmerica on Highway 12 in Litchfield. The SuperAmerica got a little bit of a surprise as well. The business earned a $500 bonus for selling the winning ticket.
