There was a lot of money floating around Vineyard United Methodist Church Saturday, and quite a bit of hair too. It was all part of the St. Baldrick's event to raise money for childhood cancer research.
As part of the event, volunteers had their heads shaved bald while those who wanted to keep their scalps covered gave money. There was also live music, food, games, and much more as the party went on from 1 to 3 p.m.
More than a dozen people had their heads shaved, and the goal for the event was to raise $10,000.
