McLeod County Board took the following actions unanimously at its April 2 meeting.
PIEPENBURG PARK: Approved an estimate not to exceed $4,5000 from Luedtke Contracting LLC to correct a portion of road at Piepenburg Regional Park. The downhill stretch of the road at Piepenburg Regional Park leading to the campground/recreation area is prone to washouts during heavy rainfall. Funding for repairs will come from Coronavirus relief funds.
PARK SIGNAGE: Approved purchase of entrance signs for all six McLeod County Parks from Innovation Foam at a cost of $33,246. Also approved the purchase of materials necessary to install the new signs at a cost not to exceed $6,754. Both projects will use funds from the Coronavirus relief fund.
WORKSHOP: Set a workshop following the Tuesday, April 16, board meeting at McLeod County Government Center, 520 Chandler Ave., Glencoe.
