The Hutchinson Seventh-day Adventist Church has hosted cooking schools several years ago. It was halted during the COVID pandemic and returned in 2023.
“We had people asking this spring if we're going to do one and when it's going to be,” said Yvonne Heinrich, organizer of the cooking schools. “We got it organized. We've had requests for another one and we went back for two this time.”
Four demonstrators will showcase a variety of recipes during each session. Attendees can sample the prepared foods and take recipes home.
“All you have to do is come. Sit down, watch and enjoy the products we made,” Heinrich said.
