Hutchinson City Center

Hutchinson City Center is the central location for many city services. It hosts the Hutchinson City Council meeting at 5:30 p.m. on the second and fourth Tuesday of each month. On the second Monday of each month it also hosts the Hutchinson School Board.

City receives offer for old police station

Hutchinson City Council approved the first reading of an ordinance to sell the old police station and adjacent parking lot for $399,900 to HDC Properties LLC (Hutchinson Dental Center).

“I never thought that I’d be sitting here two or three weeks after we put our guns on the market saying we’ve sold one of them or at least we’ve signed a purchase agreement on one of them,” Hutchinson City Administrator Matt Jaunich said.

Per city charter, all city property must be sold through an ordinance which requires two readings before the final purchase agreement.
