A motorcyclist was killed in a head-on crash between Kimball and Watkins Monday afternoon.
The crash happened about 12:50 p.m. on State Highway 55, near 123rd Ave., in Maine Prairie Township, according to the Minnesota State Patrol.
The State Patrol said a Harley Davidson motorcycle was westbound on State Highway 55 when it collided head-on into the front left tire area of an eastbound Dodge Ram pickup truck pulling a trailer.
The driver of the motorcycle, 56-year-old Sheri Sue Tilley of Lakeville, Minnesota, was pronounced dead at the scene. The State Patrol said Tilley was wearing a helmet.
The driver of the pickup, 25-year-old Matthew Edward Diwi of Ramsey, Minnesota, sustained non-life-threatening injuries and was taken to the St. Cloud Hospital.
Alcohol was not a factor in the crash, according to the State Patrol.
