At 3:19 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office checked on an individual walking at 708th Avenue and US Highway 12, Dassel Township.
At 4:06 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted the Wright County Sheriff’s Office at a residence on 4th Street Southeast, Cokato.
At 6:40 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a suspicious vehicle in the area of US Highway 12, Dassel Township. Upon the arrival of the deputy the vehicle was no longer in the area.
At 9:28 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office arrested Stephen Michael Rishkofski, 43, of Eden Valley, on McLeod and Stearns County warrants, at a residence on Willis Street, Dassel.
At 9:54 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of suspicious activity at a residence on 668th Avenue, Darwin Township.
At 12:36 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a welfare check at a residence on Todd Street, Dassel. The deputy made contact with the individual and everything was okay.
At 5:27 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a driving complaint on U.S. Highway 12, Dassel Township. The driver was given a citation.
At 7:24 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted the public at a residence on Simons Avenue West, Dassel.
At 7:41 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office arrested Clayton Adam Bartyzal, 32, of Litchfield, on a Stearns County warrant, while at a residence on North Austin Avenue, Litchfield.
At 8:51 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a driving complaint on 240th Street, Darwin Township. The vehicles were gone upon the deputy’s arrival.
At 9:46 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted in unlocking a vehicle at a residence on Stearns Avenue North, Watkins.
At 10:03 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of suspicious activity near a residence on 620th Avenue, Greenleaf Township. All was found to be okay.
Saturday, March 30
At 12:24 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office arrested Dustin Lee Vliem, 43, of Cosmos, for Fourth Degree DWI, on North Milky Way Street, Cosmos.
At 1:15 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office took into custody an adult male brown Pit Bull with a camo collar and a young black Lab Mix with no collar that were found running on CSAH 27, Kingston Township.
At 3:59 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted the McLeod County Sheriff’s Office in attempting to locate an individual at a residence on CSAH 18, Ellsworth Township.
At 10:44 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of a suspicious vehicle in the area of South Mars Street, Cosmos.
At 10:58 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a cellular 911 hang-up call from a residence on 586th Avenue, Greenleaf Township. It was determined that everything was okay at the residence and was a misdial.
At 1:51 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of a white German Shepard and a smaller dog running in the area of U.S. Highway 12 at 700th Avenue, Dassel Township.
At 2:29 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to and dispatched Hutchinson Fire Department to a report of a grass fire on 150th Street, Cedar Mills. No loss of property reported.
At 6:58 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted in unlocking a vehicle at a residence on Fifth Street North, in Dassel.
At 8:51 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of an assault outside of a residence on Central Avenue North, in Watkins.
At 9:19 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office issued a deer possession tag on CSAH 1, Litchfield Township.
At 10:15 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a noise complaint at a residence on Fifth Street South, Grove City. There was no audible noise upon the deputy’s arrival.
At 11:08 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office arrested Kyle Allen McCuskey, 27, of Duluth, for third Degree Test Refusal, on CSAH 11, Litchfield Township.
Sunday, March 31
At 12:58 a.m. a Sheriff’s Deputy observed a suspicious vehicle at a business on MN Highway 55, Watkins. All was found to be okay.
At 2:34 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of debris on US Highway 12, Darwin Township. The deputy removed the debris.
At 1:34 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a burglary in progress at a residence on 6th Street South, Dassel. Angela Kaye Ryan, age 51, of Dassel, was arrested for 4th degree burglary.
At 1:41 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a stray dog in the area of Luella Street, Watkins. The deputy brought a white and brown female Springer Spaniel with a purple collar to the dog pound.
At 2:06 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of an animal complaint on 555th Avenue, Danielson Township.
At 2:23 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office received a report of a domestic situation at a residence on 2nd Street South, Grove City. Jeremiah Jacob Shoutz, age 32, of Grove City, was arrested for Felony Domestic Assault-Strangulation.
At 11:02 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted the public at a residence on 580th Avenue, Harvey Township.
Monday, April 1
At 6:05 a.m. the Sheriff's Office assisted the public at an address on Central Avenue North, Watkins.
At 10:39 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office took a report of a stolen vehicle at an address on Forth Street North, Watkins.
At 1:25 p.m. the Sheriff's Office took a report of an alarm at an address on 722nd Avenue, Kingston. The building was secure upon deputy’s arrival.
At 2:02 p.m. the Sheriff's Office took a report of a found wallet at an address on Second Street North, Dassel.
At 2:13 p.m. the Sheriff's Office arrested David Verne Carlson, 60, of Spicer, on a Kandiyohi Warrant.
At 6:53 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted Redwood County Sheriff’s Office in trying to locate an individual at an address on Minnesota Highway 15, Dassel Township.
At 7:57 p.m. the Sheriff’s Office checked on some suspicious items on the side of 643rd Avenue, Darwin Township.
Tuesday, April 2
At 12:25 a.m. the Sheriff’s Office assisted Kandiyohi County Sheriff’s Office with trying to locate a suspicious vehicle on U.S. Highway 12, Acton Township.
At 8:26 a.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to a report of juvenile mischief on North Saturn Street, Cosmos. A citation was issued.
At 10:46 a.m. the Sheriff's Office took a report of a property damage accident on Atlantic Avenue, Grove City.
At 10:59 a.m. the Sheriff's Office took a report of theft from a residence on Meeker Avenue North, Watkins.
At 12:11 p.m. the Sheriff's Office responded to a request of a welfare check at a residence on North 3rd Street Dassel. The deputy made contact with the individual and requested Mayo Ambulance Service to respond. One individual was transported to Meeker Memorial Hospital.
At 7:11 p.m. the Sheriff's Office unlocked a vehicle at a residence on Third Street South, Dassel.
At 7:18 p.m. the Sheriff's Office arrested Brandon Michael Lee, 33, Litchfield, at the Meeker County Law Enforcement Center on a probable cause pick up and hold request from the Redwood Falls Police Department.
At 7:23 p.m. the Sheriff's Office received information about suspicious activity at a residence on 615th Avenue, Litchfield Township.
