Felling Trailers of Litchfield and Sauk Centre will auction a drop-deck utility trailer this month and donate proceeds from the winning bid to the Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance.
The online auction will run for seven days, with bids accepted from noon on Saturday, Sept. 15, through noon on Friday, Sept. 21. Visit https://www.felling.com/our-company/trailer-for-a-cause/ to view the trailer in advance and to place a bid during the week the auction is live.
The FT-3 utility trailer and auction information will also be on display at the HOM Teal Strides Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance 5K walk/run Sept. 15 in Edina. More than 20 employees and family members from Felling Trailers will participate in the 5K.
The trailer was manufactured by Felling Trailers and is painted Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance’s signature teal color. It also displays the alliance’s emblem. Its wheels and tires were donated by Taskmaster Components, and its metallic paint was donated by PPG Industries.
“Felling Trailers wants to bring awareness and support to those individuals who take part in and benefit from the events and services provided by the Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance,” a news release from the company said.
Founded in 1999, the Minnesota Ovarian Cancer Alliance is a statewide non-profit organization dedicated to raising awareness, providing education and supporting women and families impacted by the disease, and to funding the research needed to detect ovarian cancer early and treat it properly.
