Hutchinson Police Services reported the following incidents:

MARCH 22: At 6:52 p.m., theft was reported on the 500 block of Monroe Street. A plasma welder valued at $1,500 had been taken from an unlocked garage. No suspects have been identified.

MARCH 25: At 2:57 p.m., theft was reported at Shopko. Hailey Rose McGovern, 28, of Belle Plaine was suspected of the theft and fled in a white Honda. During a traffic stop, she was found to have active warrants out of Scott and Carver counties for failing to appear in court. She was charged, cited for the theft and taken to McLeod County Jail.

MARCH 26: At 3:03 p.m., theft was reported at Shopko. Andrew Scott Smith, 18, had allegedly taken a pair of Nike shoes and left the store in a gold truck. During a traffic stop, Smith admitted to needing new shoes. He returned the property and was cited.

MARCH 29: At 5:10 p.m., theft was reported at Shopko. A 15-year-old Hutchinson boy was allegedly caught stealing ear buds. He was booked and released to his father.

At 10:47 p.m., a traffic stop arrest was made on Century Avenue Southwest and Black Hawk Drive. Andrew David Hanke, 19, of Hutchinson was stopped due to the lack of a valid driver's license. Accompanying two underage female passengers, Smith was found to be in possession of marijuana, psychedelic mushrooms and unprescribed ADHD medication. He was charged with two felony counts of substance possession and taken to McLeod County Jail. The juveniles were released to their parents.

MARCH 30: At 2:33 p.m., theft was reported at Shopko. A male and female were observed taking merchandise from the store valued at nearly $400. Police identified them as Raymond Charles Bourgeois, 24, of Chaska, and Britani Jo Grandstaff, 24, of Jordan. They each also had outstanding warrants from Scott County. They were arrested and taken to McLeod County Jail.

APRIL 1: At 11:37 a.m., a traffic stop arrest was made at Second Avenue and Erie Street Southeast. Randy Bell, 55, of Minneapolis was stopped and searched due to the odor of burning marijuana coming from his vehicle. He was found to have an outstanding warrant from Dunn County, Wisconsin, on original charges of felony theft. He was arrested during the warrant and taken to McLeod County Jail.
