A Watkins man has been arrested for allegedly aiming a shotgun at another person.
According to the Meeker County Sheriff's Office, at 1:49 a.m. Sunday morning a caller reported an assault on the 400 block of Meeker Avenue North, Watkins.
An investigation identified Michael Downham, 26, had allegedly pointed a shotgun at another person after an argument. Officers seized the gun believed to be used in the assault and drug related items during the execution of a search warrant.
Downham was arrested for alleged second-degree assault and alleged obstruction of justice.
Investigators belief Downham was assisted in the assault, and additional charges for at least one other person are expected.
