Marcy LaCroix of Disability Hub MN is the speaker at a parent workshop 1:30-4 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 24, at Squeaky's Grill and Bar, 1157 State Highway 7 W., Hutchinson.
This event is sponsored by Meghan's Place and is part of its annual Health and Wellness Day. It is an opportunity for parents of youth and young adults with disabilities to spend time together and network.
LaCroix is a community capacity builder with Disability Hub MN. She has more than 30 years of experience in disability services from entertainment to work and home life. She is passionate about person-centered practices as a trainer, presenter and ambassador Disability Hub MN is a partner in navigating the complexities of services and benefits often encountered within the disability community. There will be time for questions as LaCroix explains how the organization's virtual tools and resources can help families.
