The Hutchinson Center for the Arts, 15 Franklin St. SW, is opening “The Shared Language of Home: A Joint Exhibition by Acrylic Painters Bebe Keith and Shona Dockter. Hours are 10 a.m.-5 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, and 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Saturday. An artist reception is planned for 6:30-7 p.m. Friday, March 1. The show is on through April 19. Help raise money for hunger relief in McLeod County by attending Hutchinson Empty Bowl Project 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at Hutchinson High School, 1200 Roberts Road SW. This is an opportunity to purchase a handmade bowl, suggested price $15, made by professionals, hobbyists and students, and have it filled with soup. The bowl can be kept as a reminder of those whose bowls are empty. A silent auction is part of this event.
