The U.S. Postal Service announced today that it would resume deliveries Jan. 31 after cancelling delivery services due to extreme cold.
Operations will resume throughout the Midwest, excluding a few localities, with all Minnesota post offices returning to the mailboxes Thursday. The Postal Services states that there may be a few places where deliveries may be delayed or where carriers are unable to access or delivery to safely.
