The 2023 Canadian Pacific Holiday Train Tour will stop in 20 Minnesota towns and depending on the day will feature free musical performances by Tenille Townes and Breland or Dallas Smith and MacKenzie Porter. The following nearby stops are Wednesday, Dec. 13: Loretto: Arrival at 4:15 at the County Road 19 railway crossing. Buffalo: Arrival at 5:45 p.m. at Fifth Street Northeast crossing, west side of tracks. Annandale: Arrival at 7:15 p.m. at the west side of Downtown Park, over the Oak Avenue crossing. Eden Valley: Arrival time is 8:55 p.m. at the State Street railway crossing.

Candy Cane Parade 5:30 p.m. It follows North Marshall Avenue and Holcombe Avenue in downtown Litchfield. This event is sponsored by the Litchfield Downtown Council.
Opera House Christmas 1900 follows the Candy Cane Parade. This new event takes place at the Litchfield Opera House, 136 N. Marshall Ave. Admission is a free-will donation.
Mick Sterling Christmas Concert 7-9:30 p.m. at Crow River Winery, 14848 State Highway 7 E., Hutchinson. This event features a night of classic country songs including the music of Johnny Cash, George Jones, Roy Orbison, Loretta Lynn and many more. VIP tickets are $45 and general admission is $25. It's the second weekend run of the FungusAmongus Players of Dassel-Cokato's "Nuncrackers" featuring those zany nuns from the Little Sisters of Hoboken.
