The B&G Plumbing and Heating/Pest Pro II men’s slow-pitch softball team went 6-2 and placed fourth out of 52 teams at the ASA Class “D” Northern National Tournament Sept. 1-3 in Prairie Island, Minnesota.

They defeated teams from Minnesota, Iowa, Michigan and Wisconsin.

Its fourth-place finish qualified the team to compete in the ASA Class “D” Super National Tournament Sept. 29-Oct. 1 at the USA Softball Hall of Fame complex in Oklahoma City, where they will face off against top teams from the southern, eastern and western regions.

The team is sponsored by B&G Plumbing and Heating, Pest Pro II Exterminators, KR Rockets, Nu-Telecom, Litchfield Chiropractic, Home State Bank, Tavern on Main and Poly Tank.
