Area residents filled Library Square early Friday for the annual Crazy Day’s Picnic in the Park, hosted by the Hutchinson Downtown Association.
The event, which was 11 a.m.-1 p.m., included volunteers handing out hot dogs and pop to picnicgoers, plus live musical entertainment from Josie Sanken.
While the bounce house for children was canceled due to safety concerns because of the heat, a few members of the Hutchinson Tigers football team kept the kids busy by throwing a football around.
The picnic ran until 1 p.m. and was at Library Square in downtown Hutchinson. Check out a photo gallery at tinyurl.com/yy8ybw5v.
