The Midway was bumping, food trucks were frying, and animal show barns were bustling with activity during the first two days of the McLeod County Fair.
As always, there was something for everyone. Whether you wanted a thrill on one of the nausea-inducing rides, the smell of gasoline and dirt at the Grandstand events, or just to enjoy a basket of cheese curds while visiting the animals, the fair had it all.
Folks looking for a break and a place to sit down could also check out the local business booths in the Commercial Building, visit the many exhibits or listen to music under the new Pavilion.
