A crash north of New Auburn Thursday sent a Glencoe man to the hospital.
State Patrol said Kenneth Herman Schiroo, 79, of Glencoe was driving a 2011 Ford Ranger northbound on State Highway 22 when he slowed down to take a righthand turn on 180th street and was rear-ended by a 2008 International straight truck driven by Ronald Corey Jacobsen, 62, of Wells.
Both drivers were wearing seatbelts. Schiroo was taken to Glencoe Regional Health Services with non-life threatening injuries. Jacobsen was not injured.
Sibley County Sheriff’s Office also reported to the scene.
